About Helen

I'm a photographer based in the Dandenong Ranges, Victoria, drawn to stories of people, places and connection.

My work spans editorial, interiors, lifestyle, fashion and equine photography, with a focus on creating imagery that feels honest, thoughtful and timeless. Whether I'm photographing a family home, a creative business, a horse and rider, or a quiet moment along a country road, I'm always searching for the story beneath the surface.

Alongside my commissioned work, I created Homes of the Hills, an ongoing journal celebrating homes, creative spaces and the people who inhabit them. Inspired by the mountain community I call home, the project grew from a desire to connect more deeply with the people around me and to share the stories, creativity and character that make the Hills such a special place to live.

Horses have also become an important part of my journey. What began as a lifelong love of these incredible animals has evolved into a dedicated equine photography practice, documenting the connection between horses and the people who love them, something I am deeply passionate about.

At the heart of it all is a simple belief: the most meaningful photographs are not just seen, but felt.

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me exploring back roads, wandering through forests, spending time by the ocean, or planning the next adventure with my camera close by.
